About this site

Who made the sheets

The sheets on this site were written for this site. Each one is generated from a short data description and a set of layout rules, so every sheet is original, deterministic and consistent — the same URL always shows the same sheet. Nothing is copied from another publisher, and nothing is scraped.

What this site is not

This is not a curriculum, and it makes no claim about any child's progress. It is not an assessment, a screening tool or a developmental checklist, and it never evaluates or diagnoses anyone. It is not affiliated with any school program, and no commercial handwriting program's letterforms are used as a model — the tracing sheets use a neutral, openly licensed typeface, named on the letter formation guide.

Why there is no account and no email field

Nothing is collected on this site, from anyone, at any time. There is no account, no email field, no comment box, no upload and no advertising or behavioural cookie. A parent should never have to trade any personal information for a worksheet, and a child should never be asked for anything at all.

How the site is funded

Every sheet is free and always will be. The site is funded by a single gate on each of the four section pages, which offers a teaching plan for that section — the order to use the sheets in, a placement sheet, a tracker and teaching notes. The gate never appears beside a worksheet, and completing it simply reveals the plan. It is stated plainly here because it should never be a surprise.
