2 Times Table Worksheet
The twos are the first multiplication table because they are counting by twos, and a child already counts by twos long before they multiply. Every answer is the number doubled, which is the pattern to point at: 2, 4, 6, 8, all even, all ending in an even digit. The twos are an anchor table, and every later even table builds on them. There is nothing to memorise here that doubling does not already cover.
