4 Times Table Worksheet

The fours are best learned as double twos, because every multiple of four is two twos put together. That connection — four is 2+2, so four times anything is twice the twos result — is the shortcut that makes the table almost free once the twos are solid. The answers are all even. Teaching the fours this way connects the table to one already learned rather than starting from scratch. It is the natural second step after the anchors.
