The eights are double fours, which makes them double double twos, and that doubling path is the way in once the fours are solid. The answers are all even and climb quickly, which makes the table feel fast. The facts that genuinely need drilling are 8x7 and 8x6, at the centre of the hard middle. It is taught with six, seven and nine.
