9 Times Table Worksheet

The nines have the best secret: the digits of every answer add to nine, so 9x3 is 27 and 2+7 is 9. There is also the ten-minus-one trick, where 9x7 is 70 minus 7. Either pattern removes most of the memorising, which is a relief because nine is part of the hard middle. The one fact that resists both is 9x9, worth drilling on its own.
